High Pressure Water Jetting
Not all drains require high pressure jet cleaning
Contrary to common belief, most blockages within a pipe or drain do not require high pressure water jetting to solve the problem.
It appears that is now common place for nearly all drainage contractors to have at their disposal water jetting equipment which in most cases is mounted within the back of the emergency service vehicle.
Because this equipment is so readily to hand, and no doubt because that from an operational usage point of view, it would be most engineers first & preferred choice to use this equipment over and above other conventional drain cleaning methods irrespective of the fact that it usually commands a higher rate of charge, blockage’s are cleared this way.
We are so often asked
“Why are our drains blocked yet again, they were jetted out only few months ago “
The answer is simple:
The majority of drain blockages which occur are now cleared using high pressure water jetting equipment.
When faced with an emergency situation, the attending engineer’s main aim is to simply clear through the obstruction within the drain thus allowing the water to drain.
Unfortunately, and all to often, the wrong assumption is made by both customers & engineers alike believing that by using this impressive specialised equipment and provided that the jet nozzle was able to pass between two given points e.g. Chamber to Chamber, then the pipe must surely be thoroughly clean & blockage free.
How wrong this assumption is:
To achieve a totally clean pipe using this specialist equipment requires a combination of many things including:
Correct Nozzle selection - Correct Pressure – Expertise & Experience.
We Guarantee that your drainage problem will be solved once and for all when using our dedicated & highly skilled engineer’s.
We will also ensure that the entire length of the problematic pipe in question will be thoroughly cleaned - de-scaled & flushed thus enabling Us to give You the peace of mind of knowing that a lengthy guarantee is in place to assure you that the problem will not re-occur in the foreseeable future.
