Lining – Excavation & Repair

The majority of under ground drainage systems within the London area have now been in place since early Victorian times and as such they are beginning to reach the point whereby they are no longer watertight and subsequently are prone to serious leakage.

Leaking drains ( unless rectified ) are still the main cause of Rising Damp within a property as well as in the worst case scenario, could lead to a total collapse of the system.

When drains are not repaired or treated in time and a collapse occurs, excavation would be the only means available to replace the damaged pipe work ( normally at great expense )

The no dig technology now available means that we are able to provide a specialist service whereby we can totally re-line a pipe no matter what the size or length at a fraction of the cost of excavation and just as important, without the disruption excavation usually causes.

Once a liner is in place not only will it strengthen the existing pipe work it will also enable the drain to function correctly without any further water loss. In most cases the flow rate is actually increased as there are no longer any joints to slow water down.

When minor defects are identified a patch liner can easily be inserted to cover over any small or minor defect.

Our engineers are experts in this field of technology and over the past 15 years ( since our first ever liner was installed )  they have probably installed more than 5 miles of liners in and around London and the surrounding suburbs.
